Adam Savage is a lifelong maker, science communicator and storyteller. With 40 years of experience in every imaginable form of fabrication, he's built everything from robot ghost chairs for the Berkeley Repertory Theater to spaceships for Star Wars: Episode 1. In 2003, he became known worldwide as a host and producer of Discovery Channel’s long-running hit series MythBusters. Today, Adam is just as well known for the content he makes on Tested. His appearances at conventions are packed with thousands of fans, eager to ask questions about his past experience, build projects, costumes, and making in general.
In 2019, Adam published his New York Times best-selling book, Every Tool’s a Hammer, which chronicles his life as a maker, further cementing his position as the “pied piper" of the maker movement. His commitment to storytelling extends beyond the bounds of TV, film and YouTube: Adam also sits on the board of the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.
