Lady Cels is a Maryland-based cosplayer with a passion for teaching and costume creation. With 22 years of experience under her belt, she is an award-winning maker who designs and constructs her own costumes from scratch, having competed and judged at several conventions across the U.S.
She holds a B.F.A. in Technical Theater and Costume Design, as well as an M.A. in Puppetry with a focus on fabrication. Having taught for over a decade for both higher education and for K-12 students, she has also traveled across the country as a cosplay guest, panelist, and judge.
Lady Cels is currently the Vice President of the Potomac Fiber Arts Guild and serves as an advisory board member focused on improving accessibility in makerspaces for those with disabilities.
